Hang tough!
That's my message to the troops this week! School is starting, things are getting busier and it would be easy to abandon your good intentions of sticking with this challenge.
If you saw my post on Wednesday, you'll know I am right there with you! It's getting tough.
But when the going gets tough, the tough get going! Don't get soft on me!
Here are my Week 3 Goals:
Clean out the bottom of my son's closet (that was my Week 2 goal, but life intervened!)
Plus, so I don't get too behind, I'm also going to clean out one of my son's dresser drawers. I hope to get all three drawers cleaned out, but I'm trying to set realistic goals, so I don't get discouraged.
Okay, here's the drill:
1.) Post your Week 3 Goal on your blog along with a link back to this post OR a link to my button in the right sidebar.
2.) Leave your link to your Week 3 Goal post via Mister Linky below.
3.) Visit as many of your fellow soldiers as possible to cheer them on!
4.) Post your Before and After photos on your blog anytime between now and next Friday!
Finally, the winner of the $10 Marshalls gift card is Diane! Congratulations! Just email me at melinda@parentingconfessions.com with your email address and I will send you an e-card!
You have your orders! Now go fight clutter!

Great post, Melinda! I'm doing a "Get Ready for School" series at www.andthenihadboys.com, and today's post was about attacking the closet -- with your boys' help!
ReplyDeleteGot my pantry done- sort of. Now on to the laundry room.
ReplyDeleteKids closets are tough!
good luck with that closet! You'll get to it this week!
ReplyDeleteThanks for keeping it real! It's easy to get discouraged, but every little bit helps. I have every confidence in you - one tiny pile at a time!
ReplyDeleteUgh! My link title wasn't supposed to say anything after my name...oops! I mostly finished my task. Looks like almost everyone had a tough time getting to it this week!
ReplyDeleteSeriously woman, I have gotten SO motivated by this operation! Thanks a ton! I think it is too late, but here is my link for week 2 goal anyway!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who really needs to set small goals in order to feel like I accomplished something! Good luck with your goals this week and thanks for the comments on my blog. They make me happy! :)
ReplyDeletenow I have to go make a goal- I linked with my clutter princess blog so hope that you find it- hugs Meme
ReplyDeleteI didn't manage to complete my 2nd goal. Was sick the whole of last wk, super tired, so I guess it'll be my this wk goal to complete last wk goal...
ReplyDeleteYou've been tagged :) Come on over to my blog to see what you need to do :)
ReplyDeleteI acheived part of my Week 3 goals yesterday and posted it for my "Tackle It Tuesday" post, but it is also part of this Operation Organization :)
ReplyDeleteUgh, are you serious? Week 3? And I was supposed to take pictures AND post them? Plus actually DO the work? Man, you are a drill instructor...I'd fit right in at AA. They are full of people that keep falling off the wagon but keep coming back...Sooo, technically I have Never fallen off the wagon. I just have to clarify that. I just have major issues with remembering to take before pictures. GEEZ OKAY YOU WIN, STOP YELLING...I am lying and you caught me. My issues are really with finding the COURAGE to take before pictures....I'm working on it D.I. Melinda. Your silence towards me is hurting my ears. So I'm back on board. Ready to do the FULL Metal Jacket. Good News: I HAVE BEFORE PICTURES EVERY SINGLE FREAKIN' DAY!!!
ReplyDeleteWhew, I feel better. Come spy on my progress: WAIT! I DIDN'T MEAN COME SPY YET. I'M NOT READY
Whoa! Just realized that I was more on top of it than I thought, so I'd already posted my link! Sorry everyone! :)
